Do I get a certificate?
Yes. All courses include a digital certificate upon successful completion, and certain programs provide portfolio reviews with instructor feedback.
Are there scholarships?
We offer limited scholarships for underrepresented voices and community reporters. Availability is updated each term; eligibility criteria are listed in our catalog.
What currency are prices in?
All prices are shown in Canadian dollars (CAD). If paying from abroad, your card issuer will convert to your local currency at their prevailing rate.
What’s the typical weekly time commitment?
Expect 4–6 hours per week per course, including live sessions, readings, and assignments. Intensive workshops may require 8–10 hours during event weeks.
Do I need prior journalism experience?
No prior newsroom experience is required for beginner tracks. Advanced labs may ask for writing samples or a short pitch to place you appropriately.
What is the refund policy?
Full refunds are available within 7 days of purchase if the course hasn’t started. After start, pro‑rated credits may apply based on attendance and materials access.
